Certificate IV in TESOL
COURSE OUTLINE:
Students will develop skills for practical classroom teaching which will meet the minimum specialisation requirements for teaching English to speakers of other languages as required by the National English Language Teaching Accreditation Scheme (NEAS). Assessment is highly integrated and is based on teaching practice, written assignments and demonstration of essential knowledge, eg of grammatical forms and functions, project work, assignments on lesson design, and through monitoring of lesson preparation and production of resources.
Participants must fulfil the minimum requirement of six hours of supervised and assessed teaching practice, to conform to the requirements of the National English (Language Teaching) Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) for a TESOL qualification.
